yes it will consume a small amount what you are reading is 100% normal

I looked at the stick ..... the center line is the demarcation point between:
'Do Not Fill and Fill' .... The center line must be the 'full' oil point, correct?

the way I understand is that one should refill engine oil till it reaches above the centre line (the demarcation line) and stop refilling till it reaches the centre line of Range a in the picture.
I may be wrong, just how I understood it after I briefly read the Manual.

i know its a stupid question and the manual says it somewhere but what exact kind of oil should i add (what is the factory oil make and type for the lp610) i know its castrol something...

Castrol EDGE Professional LongLife III 5W-30.

My manual says Castrol SLX Professional Longlife III if I remember correctly, but this has been replaced by the EDGE Professional.


Castrol EDGE Professional LongLife III 5W-30 is recommended and approved for use in OEM vehicles that require VW

He was asking for the exact oil listed in the manual. I do agree that the above oil is sufficient and will probably work just fine. I was just letting you know that it does not meet the manufacturers specification. Probably because it lacks an additional additive for emissions or something of that nature.
