Center mark?
Why not fill it to just below the 'do not fill mark', wouldn't that then be the full complement of oil?

i know its a stupid question and the manual says it somewhere but what exact kind of oil should i add (what is the factory oil make and type for the lp610) i know its castrol something...

Volkswagen/Audi oil approval 505 00 specification is used in the R8 V10s.

Again, please let me know the exact brand and oil model number. It stated castrol something etc etc...

For my R8, I had to refill the engine oil twice ( one liter each time) before its first service at 8500 KM. I drove in sports mode on a daily basis, the engine was properly beat up! Originally Posted by cactus

just this weekend i was heading down to miami and the low level indicator came on. i only had 1900 miles. i pulled over to a discount auto got a quart of castrol edge and put in 3/4 of the bottle.
