My sources indicate the same unfortunately...

I still think the removable hard top would have been a much better option.

If it was hard top i would have considered to swap the coupe, now i will just wait for the SL/SV alternative.

My dealer told me the same thing. And that Lamborghini likes to differentiate the looks of the coupes and spyders. That seems like a bad decision, as there is no convertible on earth that looks better than a coupe. I envision a soft top Huracan, and I see boat-like rear deck of the R8.

Agreed. Be sure that is the end is also a financial call, a soft top is much cheaper to make than a hard top.

Lamborghini has just announced the Huracan Spyder will be unveiled next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales to commence shortly thereafter.
