It will be a soft top. A hard top does not yield enough model distinction for Lambo, a removable or even retractable hard top would be too similar to the coupe.
Consider the 458 and 488; I'm surprised the 488 Spider was released so soon, they shot themselves in the foot.

My dealer told me the same thing. And that Lamborghini likes to differentiate the looks of the coupes and spyders. That seems like a bad decision, as there is no convertible on earth that looks better than a coupe. I envision a soft top Huracan, and I see boat-like rear deck of the R8.

Lamborghini has just announced the Huracan Spyder will be unveiled next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales to commence shortly thereafter.
