Huracan Spyder
Good News!!
First, the Lambo rep called me asked me how I like the car blah blah blah but I said I would really like a convertible and he told me that that will be coming out VERY soon. Then last night was the Philadelphia auto show and my dealer has their whole display there so I was talking to my salesman and he said they are opening up Spyder orders next week or so and they are finding out of it will be a hard top or a soft top.
I wonder when Lambo will officially release it because it seems that the SV is destined for Geneva so would we see a reveal at NYC Auto Show. Paris seems to late and so does Frankfurt. I honestly hope they go folding hard top because it just looks so much cleaner and gives you the best of both worlds of having a coupe and a Spyder2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP-610

Great news mate! If it's a hard top i think they will kill some of the coupe orders frankly, i mean if you do not live in Alaska or you are a performance freak(but for those the SL will be the proper car) you should have one of those instead of the coupe.

I really hope that it will be a hard top. If it's a hard top i think we'll see a white California on sale somewhere in NJ...

Thank you for you news ! Like you said, a hard top would look really clean.

I know a lot of people have been talking about the Huracan Spyder being a hard top ... but the latest rumor has it they will continue the folding canvas roof like we've seen on the Gallardo.
I think we won't be seeing a design similar to the Aventador Roadster with the two removable roof panels but a completely 'fold away' roof system, and a canvas roof with a glass rear window that lowers behind the seats while the roof folds away takes up less room than a hardtop folding away I guess.
I think an IAA in Frankfurt unveil might be possible.

It would be really tough imo to be able to fit the folding hardtop into this car.
The other point is if they don't make it a folding hardtop they will be majorily behind the curve with Ferrari and McLaren.
There is no room in front trunk to be able to fit removable hardtop like Aventador Roadster.
