Front Number Plates in the UK (and elsewhere)
So what’s the story with regards to front number (registration) plates in the UK and cars like the Huracán? As far as I know it’s law to have them both front and back, though I’m sure I’ve seen cars here without front plates? Of the plates of I’ve seen in the UK, the style where it’s bent in the middle doesn’t look very legal to me at all. Do States in the US have varying laws with regards to these?

The laws vary from state to state here. Some states require them, some don't. Among those states that require them, some are really gung-ho about enforcing it. In some states, even just in certain cities, while required, the police can be a little nonchalant about it - specially with nice cars or exotics.
Then you have the complete opposite of that. Supposedly there are places in Texas where you can't go 1.3 miles without being pulled over for no front plate. In short, it depends.
That all said, the Huracan is one of those cars where a front plate really doesn't fit... like anywhere really.Protective Film Solutions

In the UK the law is to have one but many don't. It is the same offense / fine to have a small plate / sticker etc. as none at all so that is my preference. A full size plate just looks wrong and blocks some of the front intakes etc.

In Australia, by law we have to have the front plates on all cars. The fine is 3 demerit points and a $ 450 fine. I have not installed the front plate as there is no where to fit it and it bluntly ruins the look
After 1000kms so far so good.
My argument to the fuzz is that a front plate would block the airflow of the ALA front flaps which in turn could make the vehicle unstable on the highway and cause a serious accident

Ha ha! Love that.
I am in the UK and have no front plate. £100 fine. I believe every county will give you a few fines before you get in serious trouble. Nornal police let you go with a warning, traffic officers enjoy giving the fines.
I would say you bought like it and act dumb and be apologetic ; it’s not like there’s an obvious place for it.

I’m working on the ‘take the fine’ if it comes scenario here in the UK. I have the front plate in the boot space, but it wasn’t on when I got it and I have no intention of putting it on.
