    Non-mag suspension bottoming out?

    Hi guys,

My car does not have the optional Mag suspension, I have encountered in a few occasions over bigger bumps or imperfections on the highway, a fairly noticeable " bang" it doesn't sound like its completely bottoming out, but definitely a sound of impact.

The car still is very controllable and it's not bouncy. Has anyone experienced this behavior?

The car is not dropped and has OEM wheels and tires.

    Thanks in advance.

It might be the sound of the front spoiler scraping, I get this going over some dips in the pavement but it's not a 'Bang'

Thanks dave, its more of bang sound than scraping sound at 60 mph + My Maserati has lower ground clearance with the novitec front carbon spoiler, with the KW coilovers, I have not had any issues on the same road.

I forgot to add that I have Mag ride but should be the same ride height as yours, better have it checked out.

Will do if the noise persists, just curious if this is the norm - if the bottom shield is too low or something...

The car definitely does not feel like the shocks are bad...

Actually I recall with mag ride your car handles bumps better, I wonder if that contributes to a more compliant ride and less chance of hitting the underpinnings of the car.
