If you use the Gallardo as a point of reference, most buyers prefer the glass cover. I do believe both look great however I like the glass option as you get the composite carbon and view (albeit limited) into the engine bay. Dealers are likely to sit on a car without the glass option longer than its counterpart. FWIW, option "TEB and forged" is a $7k option in the U.S.

I think Mansory has a glass option that is pretty cool, best of both worlds, looks very similar to the Aventador rear hatch. Can't recall where I saw it and don't know pricing for it either, but that was a nice engine lid.
