Question about a glass engine cover

I just purchased a 15 Huracan, and I noticed some have the glass engine cover while mine has this one

The visibility is pretty terrible. Does anyone know how I can get this one?

Its almost a 10K option. I actually wanted mine with the one yours has. While I do like being able to look at the engine which is what the glass gives you, plus you get the forged carbon fiber engine surround the reflections driving are a pain. I think your visibility is better and frankly I think it looks cooler. Too bad you are in Florida....if you really like the glass maybe I would consider swapping plus the cost of the option :-)

I should add my son and I argued about what is better and he won.

Is the $10 for the glass or for the louvers? Because the car that I'm looking has the louvers and I rather have the glass.

For glass, louvers are standard on all Huracan models.

Agreed, it diesn't worth the investment in this place in time, plus, the turbos aren't visible anyway through that glass cover.

I just feel like the huracan has a huge blind spot, when cars are coming up on your passenger side (USA) it's hard to see. I was thinking glass might help with visibility.

Actually visibility isn't better with glass cover. Whats interesting is that in USA almost all Huracans were delivered with glass covers, in fact i only know two of them with louvers: yours and another forum memberQuestion about a glass engine cover
