Went up last weekend to drive it around before it's shipped home. Very tempted to drive it home but with rainy weather all week, figured I'd better not.

Friday evening Kevin took me out, showed me the ropes (my first TT) and we hit the roads with my VBox Sport stuck to the windshield (sorry, won't reveal numbers at this time) but I will say just playing around, those numbers are super impressive and the G's, good grief! Can't even imagine what they are in the X versions.

Anyway, he pulled over after a bit, I got in the drivers seat and within a couple minutes a GT500 passes in the fast lane and slows down. Obvious he wants to play so why the heck not, right? I pull up to his side, motioned for him to roll, he did, I punched and we were gone, not even close. He had a tune on his car, not sure what though. Once was enough for him, he went on by but was friendly and waved as he eventually exited and we both waved back. The top was down on the Spyder which is even more impressive given the drag from the air coming into the car. The car has Auto Shift which is incredible. No thinking, no nothing. Under normal driving you can go ahead and paddle through the gears, if someone wants to play, just shift down to where you want to be RPM wise and punch the throttle when you're ready to go. Just as Thrust Mode does, she shifts through the gears automatically so all you have to do is hold on.

That Saturday I took the car out by myself for a couple hours, headed south down I-77 into SC where traffic was light. I only got on it about 4 times just messing around and again, the car was great, just hesitant because I didn't know the roads and in foreign territory when it comes to cops. Unfortunately nobody out to play around with but enjoyed the drive and the sound. Now I had the OEM Race exhaust and I thought it was great. Well, compared to what I have now, much deeper stronger sound, makes a very strong statement.

I know the supercharge guys are sold on their builds but the TT's, well, there's no comparison, performance wise or other. Just cruising around with the top down listening to the sounds from the turbo's is incredible.
