UPD 11mm wheel spacers are good.
Excess material has been machine off them for weight saving.
If you need a lower offset with HRE wheels you can use spacers.

Im curious to know why you would need spacers on HRE's as they are built custom for the car? are you looking to extend the wheel outside of the wheel well?

Not all HRE's have an aggressive offset such as what you're referring to.
You can, if you demand it during the order process, have the wheels cut with a more aggressive offset, with most US based wheel fabricators. Most of the bigger ones have the data to know exactly where the offset will take the wheel, for pretty much all the cars they build the wheels for.
I had Vorsteiner wheels made for my HP a few months ago, and went to a +32mm offset rear, some 7 mm's less than what their standard was for this size/ car. Did the same out front as well (forget what the exact offset was) and it all came out beyond my wildest dreams.
Most wheels I've purchased over the past 10 years were always made with a more aggressive offset than what the manufacturer's standard was for the car.
I've done this with ADV, HRE & Vorsteiner...all to get me 4-5 mm's outside the wheel well.
@ the OP...if you're buying the wheels now, just order them with a more aggressive offset. If you already have them, you need to know that the standard rear spacer they sell will be 11mm for this car...and if your wheels are already offset more negatively, you may stick out too far. But you can use spacers with any wheel.2018 Performante

When you mention +32mm I assume that 16mm per side?

No...I mean +32mm offset, which is the offset of each wheel. Standard offset on the rear on the HP's Loge wheels for example, which are 11" wide (mine are 12"), is +40mm...so that means it sits further into the wheel well.
Check out this link to get an in-depth summary of wheel offsets...
It will give you a clearer understanding of how offsets are calculated!
