I'm not going to go for a higher paying job just for a car. When I do get there, I will have choices, and that could be a Huracan or a P100D.

I enjoyed the Huracan during my rental, but I also realized it's not a car I want to drive everyday. It is a cool car, but everything that makes it cool makes it inconvenient for the driver. The Tesla is still in the shape of a sedan meaning it's more comfortable to sit and you can see out of it, and you can turn on / off it's ludicrous mode so I assume it can be a regular car that's efficient or it can be turned into a really fast car at a switch of a button. So it's like two cars in one.

But I never tested out the P100D so I can only make assumptions. But I have driven the Huracan, and even if I had the money, I rather stick to renting it so I'm not dropping everything I have into one car. Which another thing I wonder why there are so many people out there that assume having a Lamborghini is some kind of end all to end all thing. It looks great in pictures, but it doesn't mean it's great for commuting, especially if you commute in heavy traffic.

But yeah the Lamborghini will look sexier and turn heads over a Tesla. But the Tesla is in a shape of a normal car so it'd be more comfortable to commute in and has the ludicrous mode when you want to go fast. Lamborghini you don't have an economical mode, if you're in bumper to bumper traffic, then you have to make the car work harder just to move a few inches.

The Tesla is a great all around car, it can seats up to 7 people (granted 2 very small person) and still have the frunk (front trunk) to carry things in. It's damn fast (0-60) and also has very sleek styling! Very, very low maintenance cost and very very low cost to operate (no gas)

But the Huracan on the other hand is sexy, great fun to drive and the sound!!! Which you'll dearly miss in a Tesla.

If the head turning rate is a consideration, hands down with the Lamborghini

Both cars are quick but it's very different type of quickness, the Tesla will glue you to your seat from the get go, whereas the Huracan has a little lag but with the kick down of the gear and the roaring (I mean roaring) of the engine behind you, it just get your blood pumping that little bit more!!!!

If I had the budget for one of these cars, maybe I'd own the P100D as it's something I could drive everyday. And rent the Lamborghini Huracan on special occassions, since it's a weekend car.

I remember some girl let me join her on a yacht w/ some rich guy. He didn't own the Yacht, he was sharing the cost w/ 4-5 other people. Which I think I rather do with something like a Lamborghini. You get to still experience all the high life luxuries without dropping everything you have into them.

And I dunno I feel people who buy exotics have this "You only live once" mentality. Or they spent so much on the car that they have to let everyone know they own it or it'd be a waste. I just remember this music manager who pressured me to buy a $500 hoverboard, but he drives a Ferrari and owns expensive jewelry(Rolex and diamond pendants) & rides private jets. Like WTF, what kind of high roller sells out for $500, especially when I didn't ask to buy it.

Just wondering if people on this forum truly love their car so much that if they were not allowed to let others know they own one, would they still love their car the same.

Hard to debate though, because driving around in a Huracan, people are more curious about you, or wanna leave a comment. But if you own a Lamborghini, would that help you make friends with other rich people thus maybe getting invited to cool parties, yachts, meet celebrities, or mansions?

I have like over $1 million in my account. But I'm using that money to buy a house in cash. I've already rented this car and I'm kind of over it, and don't have the urge to buy one. And the Tesla guy said the P100D will beat the Huracan in the quick part, the only way a Huracan can beat the Tesla is top speed.

But what's bad about the Prius, the redesigned Prius looks like a car from the future. And it's much more comfortable to drive than a Lamborghini. I could own a Prius, and with all the money saved just rent the Lamborghini 3-4 times a year and still have more money than most wannabe Lamborghini owners on this forum!

But why does my opinions matter to you, you have a Lamborghini, and I know the only reason you bought it was to fill a void.

But it seems clear electric cars are starting to outperform some of the most expensive gas performance cars. My ex-landlord who is an engineer for aerospace said electric is always the optimal choice of energy if engineers can make it work, because you can use all the torque at moments notice, so it's using all the available power. So ya seems most Lamborghini owners aren't engineers, just dumb people who will spend everything they have for acceptance.

The major difference between the Tesla and the Huracan is the performance on track. Took both cars to the track and the Huracan just corner like it's on rails and the Tesla is just too damn heavy! If performance is what you are looking for also, the Huracan beats the Tesla and on some tracks, even the Aventador! Just my 2 cents
