Glossy black rear diffuser
Does anyone know why the rear diffuser is mat black and not glossy like the front splitter? Any heat issues painting it glossy black?

I dont think so heat will have any effect of the gloss black finish. The R8s have gloss black grills / diffuser.
I have seen people paint the rear lower bumper the body color.

No heat issues at all. I painted mine matt white to match the body color and have no issues. I think it looks much better now compared to that plastic looking diffuser.

Looks good. I see you painted the grill under the tail lights also gloss black.
Do you have any more pictures.

Yeah, I painted the grill under the tails lights to match it with my shinny carbon fiber parts. Looks much better now. Here are some more pics.
