Thinking about getting a Huracan as a daily - would love your feedback!

    Hey guys,

i'm new to the forum, im moving from Toronto to Dallas and in search of a supercar.
I'm thinking about getting a Huracan, i've already drove the R8 and the 570S. As this will be my daily driver, i really thought for that purpose the R8 was a better car.
My logic tells me the R8 will be the car i love to drive each and every day, i couldn't get over the V10 sound.
As much as i love the McLaren and it's doors, the whole shell just felt too orientated towards race car and not everyday usuability. I could see myself getting frustrated at it with time. What i realized out of the Mclaren test drive compared to the R8 was, it felt "special". Hence, why if im looking to stay in the V10 realm, i think the Huracan will do exactly that... "special"
Thus, i decided to stay within the V10 realm, which leads me to my question. Is the Huracan just as wonderful to use on a daily basis.
Intially i will have to possibly drive some long commutes, maybe 4-5 hour drive, only in search of investment properties to purchase. Once that is over, i wont be driving far distances, most stay within the DFW metroplex.
With that said, i'd appreciate any feedback you might have for a new buyer considering the Huracan.
    Thank you so much!

I have owned a R8 and to be honest both cars are equally easy to drive. The R8 maybe a bit more comfortable due to the seats.

Personally, i don't find the seats that uncomfortable. I am more concerned with road clearance etc for the daily commute.

Also, is it a bad idea to get a Huracan that is out of warranty? I plan on keeping it for two years.

How is the reliability? I'd like to keep mainteance to a minimum.

Ground clearance on the Hurancan is very good.

These cars are pretty solid as long as you have a service history and PPI done you should be good.

OEM ground clearance is truck like! Plus with a front lift car you can go over just about anything.

Welcome to the forum!! I have the Huracan 610 and the Mclaren 570GT but to be honest as a daily drive, I would prefer the Mclaren over the Huracan. It's much more calm. The Huracan is more like a beast and makes u want to push the car to its limit every time I get in the Huracan. If u leave the active off on the 570GT it is a much tamer car in my opinion. Just a thought for u to consider.
