Key fob distance from car when ignition is running
hey guys been wondering for a while i know some cars after you have your car started and say you go into the house to do something and left the key there the car will still drive off to where ever until you stop the car and it wont let your restart. Is the Huracan like that also i cant seem to find this info anywhere.
Im asking this because well shit its because incase of a car jacking or something LOL since i go to the gym like at 4-5am in the morning and leave when its still dark as hell and the only time im vulnerable is at the garage gate.
So wondering if the car gets away from me and i have the keys on me will it stop or is there anyways for me to stop it? Or is it like other cars they just keep going till the person turns the car off and cant start it back.
I do carry protection but shit you justt never know when your going to get caught of guard.

From what I have noticed to start the car the key fob has to be inside the car. Even if you stand with the door open and some else tries to start it, it wont start.
Once the car is running and you step out the car will continue to run with a warning message until it is turned off.

Have you NEVER had a car with keyless entry/push button? Ya, it would make a lot of sense for the car to stop/stall once it's out of fob range. Google it. Tons of YT of people tossing fobs out of car while driving.

yea thats what i thought about the keyfob having to be inside the car. I just dont like the fact that the car keeps going if the keyfob isnt detected anymore, but i guess thats a safety issue incase someone tosses the key or something your car dont stop in the middle of the freeway or something. Thanks bro
