The rev-limiter will not allow the car to over rev up shifting, however, yes you can over rev the car with down shifting.Do not do this,as their is limited oil pumping on the down shift and if ya over rev you will/could destroy the engine...
Lamo will know also via the computer, which could be a very expensive mistake..

In my manual it says "In the CORSA mode there is no automatic (+) shifting when the engine reaches maximum RPM"

No you can't ! The tranny prevents you from doing this when the actual rpms are too high and you're in danger to overrev when downshiftig. I accidentally hit the wrong paddle at 6k and nothing happend. Also I once hit the paddle twice and it switched down only one gear. It's not a stupid eGear in Gallardo, it's a highly sophisticated double clutch tranny

Well Robby3,you may if fact be and I hope correct...I based above on previous cars I have had not what I have experienced in my Huracan...I do agree, the Huracans are very sophisticated and bad ass machines...
I was considering a new Aventador S Coupe, but I forgot they do not have DC Transmissions, forget that, sticking with the Huracan..

No you won't overrev your engine even in CORSA mode, I tried it many times in the race track. At the speed of over 300 km/h, even you press the downshift paddle a few times, only the lowest gear within the safety margin predetermined by the ECU would be engaged. Many people don't know the fact that, when using the SPORT or CORSA mode, if you want to drop to the lowest possible gear, you only need to hold the downshift paddle for 0.5 second, it will skip two or three gears for you, i.e downshift directly from fifth gear to second gear instantly and safely.
