Huracan Service - UK
Hi all.
My Huracan (2014) model, is due a service.
Its just done 11,000 miles
It was last serviced around 4000 miles.
Lamborghini Manchester have quoted me £2300 for the service.
Does anyone think this is excessive?Or is it actually the right price for having a "Lamborghini" *cough Audi* badge
Tks

Try another dealer.

Jesus, that seems high. Assuming nothing untoward has to be addressed, and it's just a straightforward routine service, that seems ludicrous.
Can you outline what it is they actually propose to do? I'd ask that first, and maybe post it up here, so we can perhaps help?__________________________________________________

True - if ya wanna play, ya gotta pay, but it wouldn't be the first time a main dealer tried to screw someone over.

You have the service maintenance plan in your cars booklet.
Basically an oil change every year or every 15'000km. So for you it's only an oil change and inspection of everything like described in the plan.
It's about half the cost as it was on the Gallardo. The oil change is easier but the engine still has several draining points and panels have to be removed to gain access to them. Here in Europe a lambo dealer charges about $1000 for this work and fluids (I've got a Bentley Continental GT as rental car what was included).16'Huracan Spyder - Blu LeMans

All the scheduled maintenance, for the most part is BS.It is a Oil and Filter change and top off the fluids. The H is a Audi/normal car, like a 911 Turbo S type.I tell my dealer I want oil and filter change only,it is no more than 400.00. Seriously the Lambo Oil and Filter parts are no more than 200.00 and a hour to do it is more than fair.
Yes,I can afford any amount to pay,but it is a principle that some dealer just rip people off.

Putting car on the lift, removing under panels, removing all drain plugs in a specific way and draining the oil step by step at these points, and everything back on including oil fill in seems to be more than an hour of work. I believe they know the car a little more than I do so checking the points where they probably had a problem with another cars as well as driiving it to recognoize anomalies we don't seems to be a good idea. Also 1 litre of high quality oil is around $28 here while the oil filter is a cheap $18 thing.
And on my Spyder it's even another story as the filter sits underneath the tonneau for the top. No idea what it takes to get to that damn filter...16'Huracan Spyder - Blu LeMans
