The Tesla is about a ton heavier than our cars. It will take some time but they will make the cars lighter with composite parts and lighter batteries to make it even faster. It's impressive but even the little Tesla roadster already was.

The days will come when also supercars are going full electric. The AMG is one example and Audi is working on the eTron for a long time. Maybe the later will get a Lambo suit in about 10 or so years ?
