Anyone Here remove the Exhaust valves??
So here soon all my new mods will be installed one which is the fabspeed exhaust. For the longest now I thought when I'm corsa mode the valves stay open 100% of the time but that's not the case. They only open at 3500 rpm +. Has anyone here just went ahead & straight out took off the valves to make it open all the time? I'm thinking I could tell them to do that while installing the exhaust since this one does not have a open & close switch. Any downsides to taking the valves out 100% ???
Now I'm kind of wishing I would have got a exhaust with a remote that lets you manually open & close or use an auto mode.

Their are a little rubber hose that controls the valves on each muffler. If you look, you will see it.If you disconnect each one,the valves will stay open all the time.I use to do this on my ZR1 and Z06s. However,I do not want them open all the time so I left them alone on the Huracan.Best way is the Fab Speed Exhaust.like you are doing.
Plus,it may throw a error in the computer doing it that way...

When the valves are closed the system creates more backpressure in the low rpm range. This works together with the intake/outtake valve timing. At 3.5k rpm the exhaust valves open and the head valve timing got changed as well. This will provide the best airflow for the power. But will this lower torque with all-time open valves be notable ? I doubt it, because if you need power you'll be above 3.5k anyways.
On my 06 G I removed the tube at the junction and capped it off. This is important not to create a vacuum leak. Sound was cool but after a whiile it became more annoying when cruising on the highway. When I came home after a 3.5h trip with 3h highway I decided to reverse all back to stock.16'Huracan Spyder - Blu LeMans

And this is the #1 reason I have a Frequency Intelligent Exhaust. I can open/close the valves with my remote IN ANY DRIVING MODE. It's loudest in Sport or Corsa with valves open, but I can shut them there too and it's reasonably well behaved. In Strada with valves closed, it's nice and quiet.
To me a new exhaust system without a remote is... SHIT. Yeah I said it.

Thanks for the input everyone. Also yes fabspeed also told me in corsa the valves are open 100% of the time & in sport it's the same but they are WRONG. I talked to a few other owners & also 2 people at my local lambo that services them & knows. You can open the valves at a stand still sure, which is why I assumed they stay open but they do not. in sport & corsa more they only open up ONCE MOVING if your around 3000 - 3500 rpm. That is why some of the crackles will sound dull & soft when down shifting & coming to a stop is because the valves have closed & your below 3500 - 3000 RPM.
100% that is how it works. There is NO stock lambo option that keeps the valves open 100% of the time only after 3500 RPM or 3000 on of those I forget which one. I believe it is like they said, something to do with build up pressure & no idea some other stuff lambo said. Guess i'll just leave it alone & throw it in corsa mode 90% of the time like I do now.
I also found it funny that in corsa mode you would think most of the power goes to the rear wheel only & traction is turned off but it seems that's not what happens. Its actually a 60 40 split..so then technically wouldn't it be safer to drive in the rain in corsa mode than sport since sport is 90 10 ??"Go look at yourself in the mirror & say "I'm going to win, I'm going to do this & no one will stop me...Not even you" #GrindOrDie

Im one of the people who mentioned this...it's how 99% (if not 100%) of OEM valve systems work, they all need back pressure at low RPM where the valves remain closed. Valves are not open all the time. Go start your car, let it warm up and idle down... stay idling, then cycle through your anima settings and see if you can hear any difference, give it a little gas even and prob will sound same, unless your above the 3-3.5K RPM mark

Gosh, you are forcing me to shoot a vid (which I hate to do) to show that in my car, Fabspeed exhausted
, I experience totally different outcome.
The car, once started, obviously goes into the "get the fuck ready mode" strada mode and it idles down.
In my case, when I flip the switch into the sport/corsa mode the car immediately starts to growl.
It doesn't really matter the rpm numbers, I can be in parking mode, or anything else.
I never ever heard anything different around 3-3.5K RPM, or any other RPM.
Feruccio, I'm not saying that you are wrong, I'm just stating what I hear.
Maybe Fabspeed (which did my exhaust) is able to elaborate on this puzzling issue?
