What else is as fast as Huracan?

Of all the cars I've driven, I think the Huracan was the fastest car I have ever driven personally. You don't even have to try, it just goes fast and you know it's fast. You can actually feel your body taking off like kind of that light feeling you get when you're inside an airplane that's taking off. It's very smooth, but you know it's fast.

I tried my roommate's Audi R8 (v8) and he told me it's not fast. And it feels like heavy car and it's single clutch takes time to make the shift. Thus it feels it has lag time.

I also tried the Gallardo after the Huracan, still didn't feel as fast, still felt kinda slow compared to a Huracan. I also tried the BMW i8, it looks cool, but it's not lamborghini fast. But the i8 is cool, it's a good price for something that looks like an exotic, and hopefully cheaper to maintain than a Lamborghini.

My roommate says if I want speed, get a GTR. I mean I totally would but I never been in one yet, I just seem them and if the owner feels like showing off, those cars are so ridiculously fast that even a normal person can tell that car is something different. I mean it won't have that exotic look, I don't care about it being a Nissan but I wish they would have given the GTR that exotic low profile look just so you can have the cheap speed and the look of an expensive exotic.

But ya is the Huracan a big improvement over the Gallardo? I feel it is. I would like to own one day, maybe get one used so I can focus on enjoying it rather than garaging it or making it a special occassion car. If I buy a car over $100k, I wouldn't make it a special occasion car, I will try to drive it as often as I can to get my moneys worth. Why own a $300k car if you only take it out sometimes? Might as well just have bought a condo you can live in or renovate your house.

I had a 2014 BE GTR that was definitely as quick as the Huracan, mind you it had intake/exhaust/tune but the quality of the interior and the clunky transmission was kind of a letdown.

I also had a 2015 911 Turbo S last summer and that thing was quick, really loved that car and it's usable as a DD since you can put stuff in the rear seats. It doesn't have that exotic look but it has the performance and usability that's pretty much a perfect fit for a car you can drive everyday. Plus, you kind of blend in since most people can't tell the difference between a base Carrera and a Turbo S.

The Mclaren 570s is just as fast and comparatively priced. The Mclaren 650s is faster and also more expensive.i drove both. Just traded in my 458 spider for an lp 580-2 to be delivered in November.

@jetfalcon Focus on academics and your career. Posting on this forum repeatedly about your m3, roommates r8 and rental Huracan will get you nowhere. I'm sure your father would gift you the car only if you achieve something, not repeatedly question which is faster. People who earned the money have the right to spend it the way they wish to. Instead of arguing about how you would have spent it instead, try and earn it first! I am relatively young as well, but atleast I have the mindset to not depend on my parents all my life.

I have the Huracan and a McLaren 12C. They are very different cars, but both are fast. My butt dyno says Huracan 0-80, McLaren after that. The 12C has lower lbs/horsepower (5.13 vs. 5.2), and once the turbos are at full boost, it pulls hard with strong torque curve at high RPM. I've had it up near 160 and it wants to go 180+. Scary. And I can tell you it can do 140 in 4th gear, and holy crap is that an adrenaline rush.

The Huracan rules on hard handling with the AWD. I've had the McL get squirrly with brake steer cornering at 100+, and that'll make you soil your jandies.
