Digital Instrument Panel
How do you default one of the (3) digital instrument panel views? Every time I start my car it shows the mixed screen. I want to see the full drive screen (Tach as the main view). Thanks....Brute Force

I wish the center screen was programmable. Would be nice to change it to various things for the passenger enjoyment (nav screen, speed/tach, now playing, etc). But not a big deal, I rarely even look down there.

Hi Red Mark,
Thanks for your reply. My car is a 2016 that ordered in July 2015 and picked up from the dealership November of 2015. I only drove it that day to the garage and parked it for the winter as I was leaving for warmer climates the following day. The screen on the drive home was set to the full drive screen and I only discovered the other day on my return the issue with the mixed screen. I suppose I will get accustomed to switching on that full drive screen version each time I fire it up. Thanks again.

I wish factory will offer free software upgrades, I think r8's virtual cockpit is a lot better - especially in the nav view with google earth and both gauges on the screen. Didn't someone say that they might release a F1 style tach? Finally there is a view that doesn't display time at all, which I think is a design flaw.

Might be visual noise to some but would like to have that option or its a waste of graphic processing power.
I know how to get the time to display, my point is for example, if I have the full tach in the main display and I want the next turn from the nav displayed on the left small window, there is no time anywhere. The right small window is waste of screen space and should be configurable.----------------

On the bottom left of the steering wheel you have the menu button and an up and down arrow. After you start the car you can switch between screens by holding down for 3 or 4 seconds the arrow button and the screen will change. If you like having the full screen (tach as the main item) you will need to do this every time you start the car. From what I can tell there is no way to default any of the screens.
