To cover the entire car, its about US$6000. I did this on my Huracan and also the Anniversary Aventador.

Hello,
I just had the XPEL Self Healing film placed on my Huracan. First I was very happy, but looking from nearer, Some of the edges were in my opinion no so good. As if there were to much tension applied to the film and it goes over the edges and makes bad visual effect, as if there were 2 layers of film. Looking under the hood is also not so nice, because the film is no really applied and then one dust is going between the film and the paint.
I know this is not directly visible, but I'm worried about the what it will be in several months !
do You guys have some pictures of the corner edgers and also inner side of the hood to see if I'm too paranoid, or I 'll bring this to the guy who has made this. So he can look and do again !
thanks in Advance
Greg

Sounds like the issue might be more of the installer. I have XPEL Ultimate on all my cars and I am very happy. Its the only thing I now use.

Thanks. It's all the installer really. These days both Xpel and Suntek have equally good films. Both have a 10 year warranty, and similar self-healing properties. They are a little different from each other during installation, but a good installer with experience can get the same results with both.
You could say "we" are biased, but truthfully, there is a guy behind this post. Not a just shop trying to just sell clear bra. I personally, would not Corvette out on the road without clear bra, let alone a Lambo. - Danny
We have dealerships sometimes drop off cars for front end clear bras, where in fact the entire car should have been done. Not just the front end. There was a time where the material was really only good for front end -- in fact just partial front end. But these days the PPF is so good and comes in large enough sizes that doing an entire car is a no-brainer. Yes, it's expensive. But really, PPF should be factored into the purchase of any exotic in much the same way one factors in maintenance and insurance.Protective Film Solutions

I understand protecting the paint, so I force myself to at least put the film on the front. But my problem with clear bra is that it turns colors, looks dirty in just a few months (you would have to pull it off to see this, but when you do, it won't be clear). Now to me that would seem your paint won't shine the brightest because of that, especially with coats like Modesta out there that can really put the shine on.
I want to know from PFF how they feel about the "shine" reduction. Is there a way to coat the bra to prevent color changes and promote shine?Volsteiner Supercharged Huracan Spyder
