I don't necessarily agree with the durations of that thread, the general procedures are fine.
The one error made is when he states that you must change your brake fluid yearly. That's is absolutely incorrect. Brake fluid should be checked for water content. There is a simple device that many shops have that will check the water content in the brake fluid to determine if it needs to be changed. I used to have a Porsche Spyder that I tracked regularly that I had put in Motul 600 and it lasted for 30,000 miles and countless track days over 3 years and the brake fluid did not need changing (Motul was in it for 2 years when I sold it and it tested as new and its color was clean and clear).
Everyone driver and every car has different usage of brakes that will affect the fluid.
Most important thing is to use high quality fluid. I use Motul 600 or 660.
