Sorry to reopen this thread but I was wondering where everyone, who had the 9500ci installed, mounted the radar/laser receiver.

Bumping this, how do you remove the rear view mirror cover and tap into that plug with 12v power and ground?

pull the botton cover down, you have to play with to un snap the top cover. the plug going into the mirror, the left top is hot, the botton left is ground. I got the blend mount to mount the uniden r3 it requires the mount for the audi r8 on performante.

The top left is ignition or constant? I need ignition ideally.

Its Hot with key on.. and running not when key is off

I tried this evening but couldn’t figure out how to get the lower plastic piece off. I’m more like BAM BAM and I would just break it so I’ll have to find some instructions somehow.
