So just reading through this, seems like the 9500ci is the best solution? I think I need to invest in one soon...speed just feels different in this car.

The 9500ci is the best for RADAR
The ALP is what you want for LIDAR (also known as laser)
I had both installed in one of my cars.
In my Huracan I currently run an Escort Max2 and have an ALP waiting on me to find the time to install it.
It's high time for a revision on the 9500ci so I am using the Max2 until that comes out.
