Are you happy?
Hey everyone.. I currently own a 2014 R8 V10 6MT.. And I've been going back and forth on the Huracan.
I did a 24 hour test drive and I did really enjoy it...
Here are my concerns:
1.visability.. I felt like I was in a tunnel.. Anyone else feel that?
2. Sound system - yes I know it's a sports car, but I like my music.. Anyone have this concern?
3. 6MT to Paddle... This is my biggest concern.. Anyone do this move and was there regret??
Thanks all.. I've got a live buyer for my car and I just need to either pull the trigger or not...

Pull the trigger and don't look back. You'll be happy with the Huracan.

Visibility sucks but who cares
Sound System...I haven't used it so I don't know
This is my third double clutch car....The shifts are lightening fast and sound awesome. Its the future and great in traffic so great compromise. On the track I prefer 6M just because its more involved and so I have a car just for that.
I have no regrets except I wish I had more time in the car....

After daily driving my '16 Huracan for 3 weeks straight (Southern California freeways, difficult to navigate malls and roads with deep drains, you name it, I have driven on it):
Visibility: I got over the tunnel vision quickly. What concerned me was the inability to view the passenger's side blind spot. I just have to be more aware of cars on my right side.
Sound system: I think it is better my my '16 RR full size S/C! Then again, the speakers are right next to my ears.
6MT to Paddle: no comment. But the paddle and the 3 settings are great.
All my friends have said they were surprised how easy it was to drive. Overall, this is a great car - just not quite a daily driver...

tunnel vision, I noticed this when I first sat in the car. now after a month of ownership, I don't notice it at all.
sounds system is pants due to no speakers behind you. but again, after 10 minutes of listening to it, your ears become accustomed to it and I stopped complaining.
manual to double clutch is personal preference but as double clutch gearboxes go, this is the best I have experienced. ive driven the 458 for about 800 miles and I have a GT-R as my daily, this one is by far the best.

I upgraded from a 2014 R8V10 w/DCT and I love the Huracan. R8 was a great car but I feel the Huracan just takes it to another level.
1. Visability out the back is poor. Backup camera is a must
2. Sound system... ok but I seldom use it.
3. 6mt vs Paddles - This is my 3rd and BEST DCT so far. Love the fast shifts and the down shifts w/race exhaust is insane ....
Plus I have a 6mt GT4 arriving next month to fill in my 6mt needs

I've had my Huracan for a few weeks now and must say it's a tactful beast with a well received statement. I did not experience any tunnel vision. I hardly use the sound system and can't get enough of the snap, crackle and pops. But yes, I do put the beats on occasionally, I love my Nick Warren!
As far as the blind spot on the passenger side, just gun it a bit before you change lanes and you'll be fine. But in all seriousness, yes you have cars creeping up on you trying to get a closer look and snapping pics, so gotta be careful on that passenger side. The gearbox is awesome. You will love this car.
PS- Dave, stunning spec!!

Get it! Huracan is just an awesome piece of kit. Its like an S8 when you need it to be and yet an absolute BEAST when you want that. Corsa is just bonkers. Feel every pebble in road and steering is super firm, shifts will make you think you are Lewis H. It will be very hard for me to replace this car. 650S is awesome but lacks the drama until you open the doors. But what are you going to do, post up in parking lots with your doors open, and leave it in garage with doors open so you love looking at it LOL...
But seriously, the Huracan is the game over car. N/A that is docile and just rabid. With an exhaust its even more ridonkulous! I have Fabspeed and the backfires are even more sick. But when I leave it in Strada it sounds docile but the baffle will still open at high rpm - then it just sings the most exotic mellifluous tone. I'm now considering a more fun car for my daily driver than my E350 Bluetec because the Huracan is so dang fun yet daily drivable.15' Huracan, Brixton Forged, Fabspeed exhaust, Novitec springs
