Huracan Questions
Hello,
New user here with some questions. I'm looking at Huracans and have a few questions; thanks in advance for any insight:
Adjustable Steering - I have read some negative reports about the initial version. I have been told that the 2016 models have been updated to the spec that was rolled out in the Aventador. Can anyone confirm that? In addition has anyone heard if it's just a software update that can be applied to pre-2016 Huracans?
Adjustable Suspension - I moved to the midwest from ATL. In ATL I had sport suspension on all my cars; the stiffer the better. The roads are so bad up here I had people I was talking to on the phone ask me what the noise was; it was me hitting expansion joints in my old 911.My summer DD is a 991 with the three suspension settings which is perfect for up here. The question is how stiff is the non-adjustable Huracan? Equal to the adjustable car in street, sport or race mode?
Any options you would not live without or regret getting?
I have had some trouble finding the spec I want and was told by two dealers that they cannot order another 610 coupe. Is that true?
What's real world money for a new one? There seems to be a lot of new ones out there... I'm looking at the LP610.
Thank you in advance!!
Roy

Hi Roy...another Midwesterner here, Chicago.
Steering: This is subjective. Some love the LDS, some hate on it...most love it. I prefer it myself and my friend had a car with and without...he def prefers the LDS too.
Adjustable suspension: I'd get magneto for sure too, it's not just for a soft ride, it also really stiffens up for aggressive driving. Unless it's changed, you have to take magneto with the front lift...and the front lift is highly suggested, especially in the MW.
I got all leather, I had been in Alcantara Lambos the prior 7 or so years. I'll go back to Alcantara...it grips you better and is more soft IMO.
As for ordering they are building Spyders and 580's now...my guess we will see a rev on the AWD 610 the following year, maybe an LP620-4

I have the LDS and love it.The car steers like on rails.I also have the Adjustable Suspension,Front Lift and Magneto,I like them all.Actually their is nothing I do not like about the Huracan.I have a 991/911 Turbo S and the H is definitely the bump up,but the H is the toy,I do not drive it everyday,to much attention.

The standard, non-magneto suspension is set to be the equivalent of the most firm setting on the magneto suspension, so you may not want to bother, if, as you say, the stiffer the better. The suspension won't be any stiffer if you order the magneto-rheological suspension, you will just get two settings that are softer, and more associated weight.
I can't comment about the LDS, but I did not want it - I too have read too many negative reports about it, and am very happy with linear steering that I know will be predictable, rather than hoping it will be.
I would say the front end lift system is a must, and I do really like the transparent engine bonnet - not much else that I myself would consider as being necessities.
Good luck with your search, and keep us all posted!!!

Also I have the Lift System, which I use every time I drive the car(Must)and the Glass hatch, which is very cool to look at the engine and keeps most of the water off the engine.Yes,I just had my car to the dealer and they loaded all the 16 updates.Much better camera and Instrument Cluster faster and clearer, car funs great. It took like 5 hours to do and was not easy, but they did it for me/happy...

Their was like 5 of them for my car(11/15 Bulid).I do not know all of them, but one was for the Instrument Cluster Management,Seat Programming and several others I do not know what for.Just have them check your vin with Lambo and it will tell them and you any are pending.I asked for this,it was a lot of work for them and I know they had to contact Italy directly a couple of times to get it correct. It took all day to do,but all is excellent...I look at is getting 16 Stuff on a 15 car, without that Start Stop and Cylinder Deactivation Junk..
