When I bought my car I had a talk with myself about depreciation. And also how miles would further exacerbate depreciation. So I imagined the worst case scenario. Let's say I keep it and drive the crap out of it for 5-7 years. If the car ends up worth $150k that means I payed $125k for 5-7 years of owing one of the best Lambos of all time. As a car guys and with our net worths and income the question is whether $125k for 7 years or more of bliss is worth it? And I'd say considering cars have been 80% of my hobbies since I was 5. So they price is well worth it for me!
If you ever avoid driving your car when you want to over mileage conservation - a wise older man told me they it means we really can't afford the car. Because we are living and behaving out of fear of the losses and fear of what others think of our mileage etc.15' Huracan, Brixton Forged, Fabspeed exhaust, Novitec springs

Yea depreciation is unfortunately something to accept on vehicles, the experience and ownership is worth it for some people otherwise we wouldn't be driving these cars in the first place. We are lucky enough to enjoy the experience.
I made some offers for the huracans listed for 219-222k (msrp 288 to 275k, 5k mi to 1k mi) at 7% off and the dealers weren't willing to come down as far because they said "7% off asking is our wholesale price" I think they will take 4.5% off but I'm holding out to see what the 580-2 truly comes out to be before I decide to increase my offer.
