Shouldn't have test driven the Huracan
I am glad that I finally got to drive the Huracan, but that 20 minute test drive left me wanting more. Such a good deal at $120 and be able to go through life knowing I've driven a Lamborghini in my 20s. Most of my friends probably never been in one and they all chicken out if I ask them if they wanna go test drive Lambos for $100. Many of my friends could easily blow that going to a club, buying way too many drinks, dinner, etc. But seriously if you're willing to blow $100, why not try out a Ferrari / Lambo so you can go through life knowing you driven an exotic? Done the ones where you get 3-5 laps for $70-100. But I think the $120 for the Huracan, 20 minutes, in city streets was the best one I've done.
I've tried the Ferrari F430, but it didn't deliver the same kind of thrill the Gallardo and Huracan did for me. Ferrari F430 felt more like grandpa's cool car at best, not an space ship taking you to warp speed like a Lambo.
But ya how much should one have in a bank account before throwing down on a Huracan? Are there people on here that maybe had $500k in their bank account and just one day gave in and bought a Lamborghini for $200-250k? Or crazier people like that guy who used his entire bank account to buy a Gallardo after a bad divorce? I currently drive an M3 my dad bought for me a while ago when he was trying to get me off motorcycle, but I still got one anyways. He didn't wanna get a faster car though, even if it cost the same because I was trying to go for a Shelby since it's said to be the best bang for your buck. But now that I've driven a Huracan, I kind of put my standards too high of what I think is an ideal sports car. That things destroys any normal sports coupe from BMW or Mercedes, it's the only car that feels like owning your own backyard roller coaster. Every non exotic sports car just feels like a lawn ornament now. However, this green Dodge Challenger SRT at the LA Auto Show was the only normal sports car that delivered a thrill, and it cost less than the M3.
Are there any practical alternative sports car under $100k that can feel like a Huracan if I close my eyes? Like maybe the GTR or Audi R8, I wouldn't mind getting them used as long as they worked fine.

jetfalcon i have seen that you have posted a few times about dad buyin you an m3 to get you off a motorcycle and before i continue let me say this now... this is constructive criticism. I see your in your 20's i have raced motorcycles at some of the highest levels possible through my years growing up and 2 wheels and 4 wheels will never be a fair comparison. Lets leave it at that. Instead of worrying about if dad would buy u the lambo to get you off the bike why not in your 20's aspire to forge your own path? Trust me it will be much more worth it for you to earn your own and not let dad buy you things... Growing up as a kid i was first gen here as my parents were off the boat Sicilians. They came here with nothing and we went from eating red meat once a week to boats, lambos, houses in diff continents among other things in life.. I have all the toys and more and im still mid 30's... Let me tell you with all the toys and that what the most rewarding part of all this is for me, its not the lambo or ducati or the house on the coast in Sicily or Florida or NYC or the boat or the wave runner...... its the the fact that my parents gave me the work ethic and possibility to see that we still live in one of the most amazing placing in the world to create your own dreams!! It is the fact that i can give my parents the retirement house where ever they choose, the fact that my dad is not only my dad but a best friend as well. It is the fact that when he looks at me with pride and accomplishment... it inst what could or couldn't give to me, its what i am able to give to them and family that is much more rewarding!! I hope you do not take this offensively, it is meant to help you realize you will get more out of accomplishing your own path then letting the path be predetermined for you..
