Adding reverse camera to one without that option ticked

Hey guys, simple question really - can you add a reverse camera to one that was not optioned with it from factory?

Haven't seen them available aftermarket, and curious to know.

This is actually a really good question. I actually think that this is possible technically but it requires ECU changes which could mean voiding the car warranty. I would ask twice before doing such a modification.

Good news, the dealer called me back and said they can retrofit the camera to the car. price is $3k camera, $1k labour.

unfortunately *does not* include the parking sensors.. Just the camera.

Check the post below, i knew the camera is prewired, i was not sure about sensors. I also know for sure that the nav is also there, it just needs to be activated.

Good news! I know for sure that also nav is there, it can be activated anytime.
But please, any type of these modifications should be made by your dealer, if done somewhere else will VOID your warranty as it requires ECU manipulation.

Just FYI,the backup camera picture on the Hurcan is really bad.I do not know why,but I hope they have a update for it soon.I do not even use it...Before you spend your$$$$$.

you can add camera, it's listed in the accessory catalog. As is cruise.
