oil level after 4500 miles...

Hello all, new huracan 2015 bought 5 months ago, 50 miles on odo came on the car right off the boat. oil level was right above the center mark between the fill and do not fill mark. After 1500 miles the oil level was the same. Oil was checked again after 4500 miles and is now almost 1 centimeter below the center line in the fill zone (not much below the center line). Yes oil was checked after oil temp was fully heated above 90 and then car was shut off and waited for 2 mines before doing dipstick wipe/check on each oil check. car was driven easily for about 1500 miles before it was red lined/driven etc (car is generally driven easily) is this oil consumption any reason for concern? I remember my 2011 lp550 use to eat oil a bit.

According to the Manual, It will consume more than average amount of engine oil during break-in period. I think if one consistently drives in Sport mode or corsa, it burns more engine oil too. Does warning light come on?

Thanks for reply, i actually just checked it on a level surface and it is showing almost 1/4" below center line. I wasnt thinking and was checking the level on an uphill driveway. No warning light. Will a warning light come on?? i think it says in the manual that it doesnt have an low oil level warning, from what i understand there is just is a warning if there is low oil pressure. Do you have any info on this? thanks again...

The gallardos can eat a quart per 600 miles and that is normal i guess? Pretty much the same motor in most sense i asume?

I have 4000miles On it and she has drinked 2liters of oil :-)
1liter every 2000miles is normal i think.

I added 0.5l after the 2000miles, and added 1.5 liters just 2000miles later (hard driving and track and also hot temperature in my country compare to the first 2000miles) this time i haved the message "engine oil refill!" Just before, So then i listened my Lambo and refilled :-)

If it is in the fill range, then you need to fill it up to the centre of Do not fill range. Usually， the warning light is good indication for refilling. Regular check ups are recommended by Manual.

In my experience, the warning lights comes on when the amount of engine oil need to be refilled is more than a liter. That s what happened with my R8.

Yep but i always prefer to not make the oil full at 100%, some racing tech always told me that it is good to be at 70/80% of the capacity of the oil, don't ask me why sir :-)
