10k+ discounts is what they did with both the Gallardo and the LPxxx models after the first year mania wore off.
    This is common.
Most haven't had their car for a year. Since they are already offering discounts and making a lot of them it will drive the price down. I remember when I first got the gt-r and kept it over a year and it barely lost anything. Also, Ferrari doesn't really discount and seems to make less.

As soon as the Spider version goes into production (this autumn), you can be sure lots of barely used coupes will also be on the market by owners who want the drop top.
Too many cars, chasing too few customers!
    ...and, the beat goes on.

I currently own a 991 turbo S that I special ordered and have had for a year and half. 6,000 miles. People forget that these are coupes they are not going to look as radical as a lambo or other race car replica two seaters. I also have a 997.1 tt. Both my cars are lowered HRE wheels bright colors tuned and so forth. I get many looks and compliments. I have a Huracan on order for a different look and fun.

I think this is indeed the correct way to view this situation. Congrats on your H, what color it will have?

By sometime in June, I would suspect the 2016 model year specs should be sent out to the dealerships.

2016's will not hit US built until late Sept to Oct.

Spyder will be announced at Frankfurt show and will show up in US in Mar-Apr '16 (MAYBE).

Anyone actually wanting to enjoy the Spring and Summer will need a current model. Period.
