Doubtful it was the clear install. That much heat would damage the paint/panel way before the glass.

Who knows? Just want it fixed and I am happy the dealer is taking care of it for me.

Got a little pushback from the dealer today who suggested I go through my insurance. My concern is a tainted Carfax if I go that route. I strongly insisted that Lamborghini deal with this internally. As of now, they are taking the car via closed carrier back to the dealership and then will submit a request for Lamborghini to cover the windshield under warranty. Outcome TBD.

It's a defective windshield. Nothing occurred on my drive home from the dealership. Plus, where the crack started is below the top line of the hood. If anything had hit the windshield, the very top of the hood would had sustained damage. I really hope they do they right thing. Don't want this to get nasty.

I highly suggest to push them back and make them change your windshield under warranty and NOT on your insurance, as you said it was a defective windshield!

Winshield on carfax is nothing. People repalce winshield all the time.

Correct...300 K car ,they should not even question you,they should want you happy...Had some issues with new Turbo S and Porsche showed big love without question..No Issues with the Huracan so far ,but I will expect the same from Lamborghini...

Many times it's just a dealer issue, lets do not forget that all Lambo dealers are in essence private companies that only have a license by Lamborghini, In theory that should give them credit it but exceptions appear from time to time.

Picked my H up today. Like all of you, I think the car is amazing overall.

Some gripes/questions/comments...

I have to put my gate and garage openers in the door pocket. They are really small and still won't fit on the "micro-visors". No HomeLink and the visor can't accommodate the remotes...wtf? Did anyone figure out something better than the door pockets?

The car comes with a 30 pin connector instead of lightning. It's 2015!!

As far as 30 pin connector, I bought Lightning cable for Huracan to plug in newer ipods instead of streaming through bluetooth and for some reason ipod would not load songs but older Ipods that use 30 pin connector works fine.
