You can use a heat gun, but I would recommend using Leatherique Rejuvenation Oil and heating it. It will soften the leather and you can then clean it off with Leatherique cleaner. Leather creases and cracks from not being oiled/conditioned. Lexol also sells conditioner which works well too.
