In 1953, Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected our 34th president, gasoline was twenty cents a gallon, and the first 300 Corvettes ever were produced. Packing an inline-6 engine rated at 150 horsepower, the first generation Corvette would stroll to 60 mph in 11 seconds. Fast forward 63 years and you get the seventh generation ‘Vette with two extra cylinders, forced induction via a supercharger unit, and over four times the horsepower. Handling all that power is no small feat but the HRE P101 performance wheels manage it all. With the help of Pirelli P Zero Nero’s, this menacing Chevy would’ve made original Corvette designer Harley Earl proud.
