Wheels Boutique - Ford GT x HRE S101
Sometimes disagreements lead to the creation of something special. When Henry Ford II was interested in purchasing Ferrari in the early 1960’s, the automotive world was about to be thrown for a loop with the giant partnership. Only Enzo Ferrari had different plans, he ended the negotiations at the last possible stage of the acquisition which predictably left Ford furious. Mr.Ford wrote a blank check to his racing team, led by the late Carroll Shelby, and told them to beat Ferrari at their own game of endurance racing for revenge. Out of the fury, the original Ford GT40 was born and it dominated The 24 Hours of Le Mans with a 1-2-3 finish. Years later Ford created this, the Ford GT, to commemorate it’s 100 years as an automaker. Paying homage to the original GT40 with its striking muscular lines, this newest example became an instant classic. There is one thing that we CAN’T disagree on, and that is that this Ford GT sitting on HRE Wheels S101’s is absolutely stunning.

Not bad but i always thought that cars like the Forg GT ir the McLaren P1 should keep the original wheels.
