factory alarm/up grade needed??

gremlin mentioned if the up grade alarm is needed? when I speced my car I asked my dealer and he said no one was having the upgrade in the options book, the car comes with a basic alarm......we have to have a cobra tracking system fitted at the dealership, so job done........this option shouldn't even exsist imo £ 576, talk about milking it !!

I'll just collect the insurance money and buy another brand new one, untouched by some filthy thief !

I'd check your invoices carefully when you get the cars and also the options list, I'm going in tommorow to sign the waiver for the race exhaust so will query this tommorow as I wasn't aware of the alarm issue

as I said mate, I know 3 guys with huracans and none went with the option alarm, neither did I, I think the cobra is around £1600 fitted at the dealer

Ok fair enough, the code on the invoice says 7AL I'm querying it tommorow with them as I've not Asked for it

just had a look at the factory options booklet and 7al is the alarm.........they shouldn't have assumed you would want it......if you don't mind me asking whats the total end cost? mine came out at 225, always said didn't want to spend more than 200, but with the engine cover over 5k and black wheels at over 5k easily done to make the right car!!......all the ones for sale just look to basic imo

Around £206k but actual total was £216k, that's with race exhaust and glass and carbon engine bay
