Rear view camera quality

It's really hard on us old guys that are going blind. The position of the screen doesn't help either.

So I go for a drive in my car today, and noticed two things. The radio won't turn on. Keeps saying something about not available, and when I put the car into reverse, instead of a view of the reverse camera image, I get a black screen. Stopped the car and restarted it, same thing.

Anyone else having problems with their radio or reverse camera acting funny?
I should probably post a new thread but since this was related to the poor quality of the rear view camera...
