It will be interesting to see the price considering they are pretty much similar cars. Any info on that?

Very interesting as this time Audi has just gone ahead and literally made an exact version of Huracan without any performance dilution sans the exhaust note of Lamborghini.

I know it won't sound as good as our cars but it's going to cost much less for essentially the same car with same performance numbers.

I am surprised that VW group did not intentionally make it lower HP numbers so that they respect the product hierarchy of the Huracan to the R8.

    Interesting move..

the price difference between a Huracan and a current model R8 plus is around 60000-70000 USD. I think the new R8 plus is going to be listed around 200000 USD

Indeed, it is a very aggressive move from Audi. exactly! the price. Basically The premium we paid is for the exclusivity of a Lamborghini brand and the stunning design. The R8 community is ecstatic about the prospect of driving a real lambo engine powered car

surely Lamborghini has better build quality and more exclusive. I think R8 might have race exhaust as an option though.

You can expect amazing build quality from Audi as usual and I assume an aggressive aftermarket exhaust will bring the sound closer to a stock Huracan.

Let's face it the R8 V10 will probably be a bargain buy compared to the Huracan you just won't have the Lamborghini badging, exhaust note and body styling but everything thing else will be pretty much the same.

I am a little disappointed that they did not leave a slight performance advantage to the Huracan like they did on current generation model and Gallardo.
