seems after all the cover was retro fitted at the dealer, hence the standard black engine compartment not a factory option, still comes as the carbon option if that is ticked from the factory.

Ya. I was going to say it was unlikely. The plastic engine bay trim isn't even the same design/style, and is terribly ugly. Lambo wouldn't allow that to be visible with a glass bonnet option.

Transparent engine bonnet with carbon £7440
This is retrofit. I'm not happy and trying to get lower price but also not keen on that carbon design but surely the price should be much less considering it doesn't have the carbon.

ive paid £5256.......as spec sheet reads transparent engine bonnet with carbon forged engine bay.........mines a factory option,thats why I held back to this was available ......always cheaper on the line

Wasn't very happy about this issue and was also told the retrofit would be the same price as factory so they are now doing it for the same price as factory
