Do you let people drive Lambos?
I'm wondering for all the newer Lamborghinis that crashed, what did the people do to make them crash?
Such as that story with Chris Brown's friend crashing an Aventador and then running away. What kind of friend is this that Chris Brown would lend a super car to someone who probably can't afford to replace it. I think they crashed it in a neighborhood so they were speeding somewhere that car enthusiasts don't go. What is running away going to do, Chris Brown is gonna know who drove it.
The first time I drove a Gallardo, I spun out when I took a turn too hard. But it was in a coned course so nothing happened. So thankfully it didn't happen in the street.
I had a girl I gave an invite to ask if she could drive the rental Huracan. I was like not comfortable with the idea because she probably def not take responsibility if she crashed it. But then she did drive her ExBF's Aventador SV once for her birthday. So even her BF wasn't comfortable to let her drive it and only did it on her birthday.
I thought about letting her on a large straight away on PCH, but at the same time I didn't encourage it. Just said something like you have to be 25 to do it, or that you must register as a driver which I knew wasn't going to happen b/c she's 21. I'm sure the owner of the rental would say no if I asked him.
But yeah I drove it and only a few times there were right turn people from the intersection coming into my lane. So I had to slow down ahead of time to avoid any near collision. But brakes are pretty good and I didn't skid out. The fastest I got the car up to was 120 mph from a cruising speed of like 80, and it did it so fast without trying. I only wanted a quick boost and it got there faster then I anticipated.
But gonna rent again this Sunday. Which mode should I put it in? Strada?
