Pzero performance in Sub freezing temps

Pzero performance in Sub freezing temps
Up in seattle we are seeing temps well below freezing in the morning....this morning it was 23 F. I opted to take my C4S which has Winter tires since I was worried about how Pzero will perform in these temps. However, I really want to take out the Huracan in the morning at similar temps. WHat is the general consensus for running these Pzero Summer tires in cold weather?

    Hi lowpue,

I resolved this problem by getting a set of sottozeros for my 570SL and now for my Huracan. As you will appreciate from your Porsche absolute grip may be affected but confidence in the cold/damp/slippery conditions makes it well worth while. Consensus is that 'summer' tyres drop off below 7*C. The Corsa tyres on the SL really did get snappy in low temps, sottozeros much more predictable. Great that you want to drive all year round!

Yep, Sottozeros are great and exactly what I have on my Porsche. Thanks for your reply. :-)
