Lightbulb Lamborghinis CAN be INVESTMENTS/minimally depreciating assets

Sorry that this is my first post, but as I read through the forum, I notice that there are an abundance of people who have simply accepted significant depreciation as a fact; and that if you don't accept this significant depreciation then you shouldn't be buying a Lambo. This couldn't be further from the truth..

If you buy a BRAND NEW LAMBO--yes, you will have much more depreciation than someone who waits a few years or capitalizes on mileage. I don't suggest buying a new lambo, even if you have 100 million in the bank, because it's just unwise. I don't believing in WASTING, no matter how much I have, and that's why I have in the first place. I save on EVERYTHING. Just look at the Huracan-- if you waited just a year, you saved 70k.

I've made money on all of my exotics, from my SL550, to my Gallardo, to my Bentley GT. I am about to get a Huracan for a STEAL and I could literally make money off of it immediately if I so chose. The trick is to buy after they slightly depreciate, due to both age and mileage. Then, after the first guy takes the hit, you can actually DRIVE the thing without having to worry about losing thousands everytime you take it out.

Who else has either MADE MONEY or lost very little?

I ordered new because I want certain specs that I know a used Huracan won't have. The way I look at is you can make a bad investment and take a bigger hit, at least when taking a hit with the Huracan you're enjoying every minute plus I don't plan on being the richest man in the cemetery so it doesn't matter to me if I do take a hit if it brings enjoyment to my life. To each his own.

I also ordered new because I wanted some specs not available on 2016/2015 models such as Q citura pattern on seats and door panel ( I think the flag stitched in the seat and huracan logo is a cool look), dark chrome pkg. and Sensonum audio upgrade.

I was extremely fortunate - I bought brand new (not ordered - someone backed out of their car), and paid considerably less than any USED Huracan listed on Auto Trader Canada at the time. Time will tell how I do with regards to losing money!

Yes! I got a good deal on a 580-2 aswell! I don't believe its wise to buy MSRP , but if you're getting a steal deal on a NEW car, why not go for it? No one should be scared of buying new cars, you all know what you're getting into if you purchase a new car. I myself know I'll spend a long time in my H so it doesn't affect me that much!

What I made I will lose when I sell it...easy come easy go

Oh yeah, your profit sounds dismal and lots of work, I made about 3 million cash from selling my LaFerrari.
