    Build quality, squeaks and rattles

So far I am hugely impressed with the build quality of my Huracan. There are no misaligned parts, no squeaks and rattles, no extraneous vibrations when playing the stereo loud, etc.

I compare this with my experiences of owning Jaguars and Range Rovers. I LOVE those cars too and don't mean to throw dirt on them in any way, but there are seemingly always at least a few rough edges, however small -- misaligned parts, something loose, a few squeaks and rattles sneak in, etc. Even with an Aston Martin Vantage I owned, there were a few squeaks and rattles. My F-Type and Aston Martin were convertibles, which probably has some inherent negative contribution to this issue.

Can a Lambo generally be expected to maintain this super-tight feeling as the car breaks in, or do things loosen up? I am really liking the build quality so far and it would be awesome to hear that it will stay this way.

I agree - I am VERY impressed with how well the Huracan is screwed together.

I must say, initially, there was this rattle that was making me crazy, emanating from what I thought was somewhere in the central portion of the dashboard... I tried, every time I drove it, to isolate the rattle, but it was all in vain. Eventually, with GREAT effort, I resigned myself to living with it.

Fast forward two weeks later. My wife and I are driving in it, and I mention this rattle that is making me want to do a Michael Douglas in "Falling Down"....

Literally about five seconds later, she says - "it's the mount for your radar detector". She was absolutely right - sheepishly, I made a highly technical brace using CAD, enlisting the help of a mechanical engineer friend, with some support from NASA.... well OK, I may or may not have used a piece of duct tape.... and the rattle was gone.

LOVE this car. And my wife, hahaha.
