So you ready to get one?

The problem with hardtop convertibles is that they change the design of the flowing coupe except for the 2003+ SL500

Lambo should make a carbon top version like the Aventador but a automated hardtop on the huracan would be ugly.

I agree, this would have been both in my book the technical and matketing ideal solution. Maybe they could have even take it a step firther and do this rooftop as extra option out of semitransparent carbon fiber ( like on Bugatti Vitesse), now imagine how many units of such a car would have sold!
I just hope they will read this post huracan spyder

Exactly what I was thinking they would do & was wishing for. Not a hard top at all but a roadster like the aventador. You easily snap off the 2 top parts & place them in the boot & BAM your in action.

I would think it would have been WAY easier to do as well than all the moving parts. Plus it would satisfy EVERYONE not just the ppl who don't mind a soft top. No one would complain about a well done roadster snap off roof like they did with the A. Man...that would have been so sick.

And I don't think it would hurt sales at all. They could have done roadster as 610 only & 580s would be coupe only so they would still get many coupe sales for those anting to save a little & get a 580 for some reason.

Then have the 610 coupe & roadster then later the S version coupe.

I agree with you though I would have loved a hard top Spyder....us guys in the midwest cant drive with the top down as much as these west coasters so we need it to look good top up or down
Exactly! We need it to look great both up & down. Maybe if I lived in Cali I could see getting one & literally NEVER putting the top up LOL. Only to make sure it still works then rite back down.

Bet that if a 1000 buyers got together and requested it through a dealer, Lamborghini would do a limited run of a Huracan Targa. I want a Huracan with a V12, scissor doors and removable carbon hard top and a carbon body the color of burnt Titanium with the rear lights of the Centenario and hidden rear wing a GT# front clip and a removable steering wheel like thats on the Vulcan, active cameras and mics all around and built in two way radio along with a high speed companion drone that's attached to the rear wing that you can race.

so i never had a spyder before..soft top, does water easily leaks in ?? and the roof, it's basically fabric. will it absorb water and take forever to dry out? coming from the H coupe, it's quite a tough call for me..

There are a few cars that look stunning with a soft top on, the 987.2 Porsche Boxster Spyder is one such car. Absolutely gorgeous soft top that is unique.
I agree with you that the Huracan Spyder is not attractive, I saw it at the launch at the Frankfurt Autoshow and was turned off by its looks with the top on. With the top off it is ok, not spectacular.
