Yes I wash all my cars myself because I'm very picky. Only time I don't is if I'm too busy. Then I pay for a detail.
I actually enjoy doing it as I find it stress relieving.

Yes i'v always washed all of my own. I feel it's done better & with more care. Plus you don't know what cloths they might use, leaving swirls all over & I enjoy doing it too.
I was myself & then every so many months or so have a pro detailer friend do all the extra stuff that I don't know how to do with all the pro tools & everything."Go look at yourself in the mirror & say "I'm going to win, I'm going to do this & no one will stop me...Not even you" #GrindOrDie

Same here, I always wash my cars and for some reason, it takes me a good three hours....
Since I have had Ceramic Pro applied to the Cayenne, I can get through that in an hour and a half though if I had a better blower, I am sure I could cut a good amount of time off. Swirls are a distant past.
I decided I am going to have the new H Spyder completely wrapped in XPel Ultimate and a Gold Package (or more) of Ceramic Pro applied to the top of that. Easy cleaning at that point and not the worry of swirls, etc.Instagram: ur55__
