USB Connection / iphone not working?

In the arm rest, I noticed there is a usb plug there, I tried plugging in my usb for my iphone but it doesn't even recognize it. I mainly wanted to use it, for the sake of charging the phone but also listen to music instead of using the bluetooth option. I didn't see a option for a AUX cord. Anyone else have this problem with iphone?

Yeah, the USB Interface from the car only works for standard usb disk etc., not for iphone. If you need other feature like Aux cord etc., you may need to upgrade the stereo system with another more powerful aftermarket In-dash stereo player with bluetooth gps navigation etc.
