Dynamic vs Normal Steering

I have a '15 with LDS and track my cars. It felt completely natural and direct to me from the moment I jumped in the car. For an electronic steering it is the best I have driven. It's up to personal preference, some like things old school others like the technology. The LDS conversations seem to have the same overtones as the Manual vs. Automated Manual conversations.
The facts speak louder than words, if you want top performance get LDS (as in most any car DCT beats out manual as well ). If you are looking for a more "natural" feel and want to be "connected" to the car then maybe you want a non-LDS car. Personally I felt more connected with LDS.

Perfect Explanation Abedh... I have the same conversation with my Viper Friends (after I sold 2 Vipers) over that old school manual shifting in reference to the new DCTs..Of course I run rings around them with my Turbo S and Huracan with DCTs and Launch Control... Either get with the times or life in the past,I like the new technology...

Very well said. I've had legendary steering cars - NSX's, 993, Lotus Elise etc. And I love my LDS. I think most people are regurgitating the journalists which need a story or topic to nit pick or pontificate. A supercar/Lambo with active steering is a perfect debate LOL

I enjoy LDS...wasn't sure I would like it but its really pretty good.

That's a great video....seems like less hand movement with LDS as expected. It would be interesting to hear what the person driving both of those cars on the same track has to say about which had better feel and control
