Lamborghini Aventador Replacement: Hybrid or Turbo?
I would like to hear what do you all think about this?
So far i was not impressed by the Aventador variations that popped out, and i also do not have high hopes on the final edition that will be launched next year. So i think i will hold the decision to buy until the Aventador replacement will appear.
As we all know the era of large displacement engines is over so this new model will either be hybrid or turbo.
To be honest firstly i would like to see that they cut down both the weight and the dimensions of the new car, these are way more important imo than the engine and thats basically the reason for which i like the Huracan that much. Now getting to the engine department i would have to choose a hybrid platform over turbo. I think a lower displacement, higher revving engine combined with a hybrid drivetrain would be ideal.
To me personally a turbo setup would ruin the idea of a Lamborghini flagship.
So, what do you think, hybrid or turbo?2015 Verde Mantis Lamborghini Huracan

Interesting topic. I think we will not see an V12 anymore and most probably a smaller displacement.
I also would tend to agree that a hybrid power train would be more appropiate but i have no idea with what engine they could hook it up, it should be a new designed engine for sure.
If you look at McLaren, all their cars have basically the same engine, the 3.8L TT V8. That being said i would prefer a high revving V10 over an TT V8.
