Dealer Never Seen This FAULT CODE ERROR. Anyone Else??
Hey everyone,
So since the day I bought my new Huracan last week or so it had this error code popping up saying
"MagnaRide OFF Fault Code ERROR" on the dash every 5 mins or so. I bought it used with only 360 miles on it.
I got it home & my local authorized Lamborghini dealer came to trailer it in & do its servicing & fix that code BUT they called me today saying we have never seen this code on any other car & have no records of anyone else getting it so we do not know how to fix it. They said at this point they are in direct contact with Lamborghini to try to fix it & figure it out but I was wondering have any of you before had or heard of this issue?
If so what is it? How do they fix it? The car seemed to drive just fine to me for the extra 400 or so miles I already put on it LOL.
I made a post about this a week ago & someone said a technician here would PM me but I never heard from anyone.
Any help is much appreciated as usual.
PS - Lastly also they are telling me it needs it's yearly oil change even though it only has 800 miles on it. They said you need to get the oil changed every year even if you do not do 10k miles & only do 500 or any number. It's $900 for that & air filters swap out. Should I go through with it even though its only been 800 miles? My first true exotic / lambo (closest thing I had was a v8 R8) so just making sure."Go look at yourself in the mirror & say "I'm going to win, I'm going to do this & no one will stop me...Not even you" #GrindOrDie

No Codes on mine, not to worry,Lamo in Italy will advise how to fix.I had a issue with a updates the dealer could not figure out and the Engineers in Italy did.Ya,I just had my first year oil change and oil filter,it was 500.00(rip off for oil change)Turbo S same for 300.00/What ever , on my car has 500 miles. It is necessary to get new oil every year as the moisture gets in the old oil.Forget the air filters, your are fine with 800 miles. This is unless they are putting Hi Flows in,then that is good....

The Huracan and Gallardo are exactly the same to change the oil, it was 500.00 .Tell them you do not want air filters,it is not needed on a car with 800 miles.Actually the new R8 Plus is the same as the Huracan, next year I may roll buy a Audi Dealership and see how much they charge for the oil change,IF I like the tect and they know what the are doing. Will See...If the price is close,I will stick with my Lambo Dealership, they are excellent and do know what they are doing.....

I think you got a lemon. Likely why it was bought back with 360 miles. Unfortunately lemon law only applies to first owners. Always buy NEW I say.

OP...sorry to hear about the unknown/unfamiliar condition. When I looked at the dealer website photos before it sold this light was present in some of the pictures. Did they disclose to you that the vehicle needed some attention at the dealer immediately after you take possession? Most often the dealer who has the vehicle will address this prior to putting the vehicle up for sale. Regardless, this should be covered un the warranty and the only thing you are out of is peace of mind and time.

That is good to hear but NO they did not tell me at all about it. I noticed it in the photos as well & mentioned it & they said they did not know what it was but that the warranty will cover it whenever I take it to a dealer. Also they didn't let me know that it never got it's 1 year oil change or anything done so as soon as I got it I had to have it hauled off for that & pay more for the oil change & such.
The Lamborghini dealer shop contacted me yesterday saying they are in talks directly with the factory techs & they gave them a few ideas to look at & try to see if any of those are it but they are working together to figure out & fix the issue. Just sucks that it came like this rite from the lot."Go look at yourself in the mirror & say "I'm going to win, I'm going to do this & no one will stop me...Not even you" #GrindOrDie
