If I may ask, where is "here"? Here in my province, the insurance is all government regulated, so I can register and insure the car for CDN$3100/year - allowing anyone to drive it, whatever their age or driving record. On top of that, if you have a good driving record, you can receive up to 20% off of your insurance. Thankfully, I am at maximum discount, although it's not for lack of trying.... :) :)
That is crazy expensive! I am very thankful for the low insurance rates here, for sure.
You have a FIAT 500 for a daily? That is AWESOME! I love those!
Thanks a lot for everyone's help I'll ring those places tomorrow and try to get a quote, I actually got a shocking 2500 GBP per month quote today that wouldn't' even cover the full amount of the car ha.

Thanks for the tip. I have just sent you a PM but for the benefit of anyone else who may be interested I used Chubb for approx GBP3100. Aviva Distinct also gave a competitive quote but I opted for Chubb as they are my existing insurers. I am 29 and this is my first supercar. With Chubb age isn't really an issue, it's more your driving experience with performance cars, and location (they look at property prices etc).
